Servings: 2 · Prep: 10 minutes · Cook: 12 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (180–200 g each)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp neutral oil
- Pinch of chili flakes
- Sliced spring onion to finish
Instructions
- Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice and chili flakes together.
- Pat salmon dry and heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear salmon 3–4 minutes, turn carefully and reduce heat.
- Pour in the glaze and simmer gently, spooning it over the fillets. Add a splash of water if it reduces too quickly.
- Continue cooking until salmon reaches 63°C (145°F) in the thickest part. Garnish with spring onions.
Cooking tip
